Armenia Informed that Nagorno-Karabakh Forces Destroyed Azerbaijani Fuel Base
OREANDA-NEWS. On October 7, press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Shushan Stepanyan, reported that in the morning, Nagorno-Karabakh forces destroyed a large Azerbaijani fuel depot. “A large enemy POL [Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants. – Ed.] storage depot was destroyed in the southeastern direction by a pinpoint fire of the Armenian units,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
According to her, at night the Azerbaijani Armed Forces tried to advance and gain a foothold in the southeastern direction (not reaching the city of Jabrayil), but came under a missile and artillery fire by the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army. Stepanyan stated that there are losses in manpower and equipment of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, and their military retreated.
“There are now opportunities in various directions of the frontline for exploitation of success,” the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry resumed.
