OREANDA-NEWSThe first batch of olive oil from Syria was delivered to the Republic of Crimea on Monday, it will be sold in other regions of Russia as well, the Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic Andrei Vasyuta told the Russian media.

In October, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, told the media in an interview that the supply of fresh Syrian fruits and olive oil to Crimea should begin in the fall. At the same time, Crimean enterprises are ready to supply turnouts for railways, welding machines and construction power tools, equipment for the oil and gas industry, plastic pipes and other products to Syria.

"The first batch of olive oil arrived, two containers. Part of the oil will go to the distribution network on the mainland to other regions of Russia, part to the Crimea. Total volume - 46 tons. It will be in demand, good in price and quality. We have buyers here on him", said Vasyuta. He noted that in the near future another consignment of goods from Syria will arrive in Crimea without specifying the assortment and volumes.
