OREANDA-NEWS The first flight of the Il-112V completed a set of ground-based frequency tests required to start flight tests, told reporters the Director of the program of light military transport aircraft of PJSC "Il" Alexander Bykov.

"The first flight of Il-112V is scheduled in Voronezh for the autumn of this year," Bykov said.

He confirmed that the first prototype of the Il-112V completed a set of ground-based frequency tests at the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TSAGI) named after N. E. Zhukovsky.

"The materials will be used in the methodical Council of experimental aviation, which should give a positive conclusion on the first flight of the aircraft", - said Bykov. He said that the aircraft will be handed over " for the airfield workings at the VASO flight test station and the implementation of the first flight."

The specialist specified that ground frequency tests of the glider, automatic and manual control, chassis supports were carried out in TSAGI. According to him, the tests were carried out on the first prototype of the Il-112V aircraft.

The press service of the airline clarified that the next stage of work will be the delivery of the aircraft 214 military mission of the Russian defense Ministry, after which the machine will be transferred to the airfield workings at the flight test station and perform the first flight.

As previously reported, the frequency tests of Il-112B were completed in TSAGI in September.

Il-112V- is light military-transport aircraft capable of carrying a maximum load of 5 tons, designed to transport soldiers, military equipment, various types of weapons and other goods. The machine is created to replace the turboprop An-26 and An-24.

The aircraft is planned in two versions: for civil aviation (Il-112T) and military transport aviation (Il-112V). Earlier it was reported that the military intend to order 62 cars.
