OREANDA-NEWS. The international anti-terrorist coalition, operating under the leadership of the United States in Iraq and Syria, has denied information about the fall of an American military helicopter in northeastern Syria. This was announced by the television channel Al Arabiya.

Some time ago, the Syrian state information agency SANA reported that a US helicopter crashed near the settlement of Tell Haddad, located in the Syrian governorate of Al-Hasakah. According to journalists, the place where the combat vehicle fell was surrounded by US Army armoured personnel carriers. SANA did not provide other details of the incident. There was no information on the possible causes of the crash and injured or dead people.

At the end of August, a road accident occurred in Syria, in which the US military was injured. Washington claimed that a Russian car crashed into an armoured vehicle of the coalition led by the United States.
