OREANDA-NEWSRussian woman Julia Yuzik, freed in Iran, flew by Aeroflot SU 513 flight to Sheremetyevo Airport. The plane landed at about six in the morning. She never went through the customs control zone of sector A of terminal F, where she was expected by media representatives. As former husband Yuzik Boris Wojciechowski told the Russian media, the journalist wasn't led through the main exit.

Earlier, the Russian embassy in Tehran reported that the Iranian authorities released Yuzik. Early in the morning, she flew to Moscow. The detention became known on October 4. According to the Russian embassy in Tehran, the journalist flew into the country on September 29 by private invitation. At the airport, her passport was seized without explanation.

On October 2, a Russian woman was arrested. According to the mother of the journalist, she was accused of working for the Israeli special services, for which Iran faces up to ten years in prison. However, on Monday, an official from the Iranian government, Ali Rabiya, explained that the detention was not connected with espionage - there were problems with the visa.
