OREANDA-NEWSKazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin held telephone talks on Friday with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the head of the cabinet of Belarus, Sergei Rumas, during which issues of trade economic cooperation and interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were discussed.

"The heads of government discussed pressing issues of the Kazakh-Russian and Kazakh-Belarusian trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as interaction within the EAEU", the press service of the Kazakh government said in a statement.

Earlier, on Tuesday in the capital of Armenia, the Heads of Government of the countries participating in the Eurasian Economic Union discussed the development of integration processes, strengthening the Union, the formation of common EAEU markets and the development of industry areas of cooperation.

The head of the government of Kazakhstan supported his Russian counterpart, stressing that members of the EAEU should work to remove mutual trade barriers.
