OREANDA-NEWS In Russia, a new complex of guided missile weapons "Bulat" is being created, which is designed for installation on advanced military armored vehicles. On December 26, industrial Director of the cluster of conventional arms, ammunition and special chemistry "Rostec" Sergey Abramov told about it.

Nevertheless, the Bulat model has already been demonstrated at the international military-technical forum Army-2017. The installation was presented by "instrument design Bureau" (part of the holding "high-Precision complexes "Rostec").

Abramov also said that the company "Rostec" created the latest drone "Corsair", which is already undergoing trial operation in the Ministry of defense.

"What will be his fate, now it is difficult to say, as it all depends on the requirements and wishes of the customer", — said the expert.

He drew attention to the fact that drones are a trend of today and tomorrow. According to him, "Rostec" entered this sphere a little later than Israel and the United States, but now the company's drones are not inferior to the most modern analogues of the main manufacturing countries.

Abramov also announced "a lot of new products" in this area in 2019.

"Corsair" is designed for reconnaissance, patrol and observation flights, as well as aerial photography of the area in the radius of up to 120 km.The device weighing 200 kg can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h. the drone can also be used to solve civil problems — environmental monitoring, control of roads and infrastructure, prevention of forest fires, search and rescue of people.

On December 24, Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian army has reached an unprecedented level of equipment with modern weapons. According to him, during the year the troops received more than 1.5 thousand samples of weapons and more than 80 thousand units of equipment.

In late November, it was reported that Rostec would increase the range and accuracy of Russian multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The work is carried out on the instructions of the Russian Defense Ministry.
