OREANDA-NEWS. Military equipment, which has been working in Libya for a long time, is considered as recent Russian deliveries. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

“The information disseminated by a number of foreign sources, including the US Department of State, about the presence of the private military company Wagner in Libya and their participation in hostilities on the side of the Libyan National Army… is largely based on juggled data and is aimed at discrediting Russian policies in the Libyan direction,” the diplomat said in an interview with the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Bogdanov noted that military equipment, which has been working in Libya for a long time, is incorrectly considered by a number of sources as new Russian supplies. “A lot of erroneous data or deliberate falsifications are allowed in respect of military products,” he explained.
