OREANDA-NEWS. The United States has announced it's intention to organize new export flights from Afghanistan and has already received permission for freedom of movement from the «Taliban» movement (banned in the Russian Federation). This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a press conference in Qatar, broadcast by Al Jazeera.

«We hope to organize new export flights from Afghanistan, we recently coordinated with the «Taliban» on this issue to allow freedom of movement...They said they would allow free movement», Blinken said.

According to the Secretary of State, currently about 100 American citizens remain in Afghanistan. However, it is reported that Americans are not involved in the country's activities. Blinken called on the Taliban to fully ensure that everyone leaves the country.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said that the United States is not going to recognize representatives of the Taliban movement banned in the Russian Federation as the new leaders of Afghanistan in the near future. As noted, according to the American authorities, Washington does not consider this issue to require an urgent solution.
