OREANDA-NEWS. Representatives of TMK, chairpersons of labor union committees, and directors and specialists of staffing services and the company’s plants have taken part in a meeting of the public council of TMK for matters pertaining to social partnership.  

According to the press service of TMK, the main themes of the discussion were issues pertaining to attracting, adaptating and ensuring the professional development and career growth of youth at TMK’s subsidiaries. The participants in the meeting also discussed ways to increase labor productivity, strengthen labor discipline and reduce sick time. The members of the council approved a work plan through 2007, and the following meeting of the council was set for April 2007.

TMK’s public council for matters pertaining to social partnership was created in the spring of 2005. The council is a deliberative body that prepares recommendations pertaining to the development of TMK’s social programs. It also works to support and deepen constructive dialogue between the labor unions and administrations of the company’s subsidiaries.
