OREANDA-NEWS. In January-October 2006 Russia exported 38 million 360,5 thousand tons of ferrous metals to the amount of $14 billion 639,3 million.

According to the Federal Customs Service, export to the overseas countries made 35 million 489,1 thousand tons to the amount of $13 billion 284,5 million. Export in the CIS made 2 million 871,4 thousand tons worth $1 billion 354,8 million.

Without taking into account iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap metal Russia exported 23 million 967,1 thousand tons of ferrous metals to the amount of $10 billion 803,6 million in January-October 2006. Export in the overseas countries made 22 million 14,9 thousand tons to the amount of $9 billion 674,9 million. Export in the CIS made 1 million 952,3 thousand tons to the amount of $1 billion 128,7 million.
