According to the Federal customs service, exported in the overseas countries made 38 million 805,9 thousand tons worth $14 billion 671,5 million. Export to the CIS countries totalled 3 million 195,9 thousand tons worth $1 billion 523,3 million.

Without taking into account pig-iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap metal, Russia exported 26 million 140,3 thousand tons of ferrous metals worth $11 billion 927,6 million in January-November 2006. Export to the overseas countries made 23 million 983,9 thousand tons worth $10 billion 664 million. Export to the CIS countries made 2 million 156,4 thousand tons worth $1 billion 263,6 million.
