OREANDA-NEWS. An Agreement on joint participation in a tender held by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Energy to select leasing projects in the field of civil shipbuilding has been signed between Palmali Group and MNP Group, the press service of MNP informed.

Palmali Group studies the possibilities to build at the shipyards of MNP Group 47 river tankers with the deadweight of ab. 6000 tones each.

The joint participation of Palmali Group and MNP Group in the tender involves: MNP Group will consult Palmali Group while selecting the leasing companies to be brought to the participation in the tender; MNP will also participate while preparing necessary documentation, arranging meetings with companies as well as vessels’ price calculation. The negotiations with leasing companies will be held jointly. In case the companies win the tender the production facilities will be reserved in accordance with the signed leasing contract. To respect the joint interests at the most, all the terms and conditions of leasing contracts including shipbuilding and vessels’ leasing contracts will be mutually agreed and accepted. There is a working group arranged to realize the Agreement.
