OREANDA-NEWS. In January-March 2007, Russia exported 10 million 685,4 thousand tons of ferrous metals worth $4 billion 834,2 million.

According to the Federal Customs Service, export in the overseas countries has made 9 million 756,3 thousand tons worth $4 billion 325,5 million, while export to the CIS totalled 929,1 thousand tons worth $508,7 million.

Without taking into account pig-iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap metal, Russia exported 7 million 273,6 thousand tons of ferrous metals worth $3 billion 686,7 million in January-March 2007. Export in the overseas countries during this period of time has made 6 million 624,5 thousand tons worth $3 billion 262,5 million, while export to the CIS totalled 649,1 thousand tons worth $424,2 million.

In 2006 Russia exported 45 million 960,7 thousand tons of ferrous metals worth $17 billion 847,5 million.
