OREANDA-NEWS. Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChTPZ, Chelyabinsk, Russia) (RTS: CHEP) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, Russia) (RTS: PNTZ), both in the ChTPZ Group, shipped 643,500 tons of pipe products to customers for the first four months of 2007. This is 34% more than for the same period of 2006 (481,200 tons).

According to the press service of CHTPZ Group, in January-April 2007, ChTPZ sold 352,700 tons of pipes. For this period sales rose 31% (against 269,000 tons for the same period of 2006). The company shipped 201,200 tons of large-diameter pipes. This is 33% more than for January-April 2006 (151,400 tons).

In April 2007, Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant shipped 94,700 tons of pipe products to customers. This is 18% more than in April 2006 (82,700 tons). For this period the plant shipped 56,100 tons of large-diameter pipes. This is 21% more than for April 2006 (46,200 tons).

In April 2007 PNTZ shipped 76,300 tons of products to customers. This is 41% more than in April 2006 (54,000 tons). In January-April 2007 the plant shipped 290,800 tons of product or 37% more than for the first four months of 2006 (212,100 tons).
