OREANDA-NEWS. Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard, MNP Group, signed in Istanbul the contract with Palmali Grour for construction of two tankers project 19619. Preliminary delivery date of first tanker is November, 2007; of second vessels - November, 2008.

According to the press service of MNP Group, in total at present Krasnoye Sormova Shipyard builds for Palmali Group three tankers project 19619. The first contract was signed in March, 2007.

Maximum length of the vessel is 150 m, breadth - 17.3 m, depth - 10.5 m, capacity of cargo tanks - 12,64 cubic m, main engine power - 2х1,620 kW, speed - 10 knots. Class of the tanker is - KMLU1 I I A1 of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The design was worked out by Volgo-Caspian Design Bureau.

At present Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard builds for Palmali five dry-cargo ships project RSD17. The first and the second tankers were delivered to Palmali Group in November, 2006 and May, 2007. The third vessel of the project - “Akhmed Mahmudov” - was launched in May. State-of-the-art structural solutions were applied at these vessels.
