OREANDA-NEWS  Nikitsky Botanical Garden - National Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (NBS) and Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) intend to conclude a cooperation agreement. As reported to the TASS correspondent in PAU, during the visit of Crimean scientists to Ludhiana, where PAU is located, the parties considered the possibilities of developing a bilateral partnership.

"The NBS delegation discussed promising areas of joint scientific activity and agreed on an agreement on bilateral cooperation," the university said.

According to PAU, the Russian delegation included Director of the NBS Yuri Plugatar and Deputy Director Sergey Khokhlov. PAU also stressed that this is the first time a scientific institution from Crimea has concluded such an agreement in India.

"Discussions with PAU Rector Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal and university staff were aimed at identifying opportunities for cooperation and establishing long-term mutually beneficial ties," the university noted.
