OREANDA-NEWS. In the first 9 months of 2006 EuroChem Belorechensk enterprise increased mineral fertilizer output by 8% compared to the same period of the previous year. The total fertilizer output was 259,600 tonnes (in physical terms).

The year-to-date output of ammophos (MAP) was 155,000 tonnes, or 110.3% of 2005 level; and 20:20 grade sulphoammophos (NP 20:20)– 78,800 tonnes, or 79%. The reduction in the output of NP 20:20 reflected market conditions and the associated increase in ammophos production, as both the products are produced on the same line.

The output of phosphoric acid increased to 120,200 tonnes in January - September (106.4% of 2005 level). The output of sulphuric acid was 324,600 tonnes, or 95.3%.

The year-to-date shipment of solid mineral fertilizers was 262,000 tonnes, up 6% from the level of 2005. This gain was due to the commissioning of a new big-bag filling unit.
