OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2009. Pursuant to Gazprom’s resolution Nikolai Kislenko was named as Director General of NIIgazeconomika.

Nikolai Kislenko was born in 1971 in Moscow. In 1994 he graduated from the D. I. Mendeleyev Institute of Chemical Technology of Russia, majoring in Basic Processes in Chemical Production and Chemical Cybernetics. N. Kislenko is a PhD in Technical Sciences.

Nikolai Kislenko has worked for the gas industry since 1993. From 1993 to 1999 he took the positions of a research assistant with VNIIGAZ International foreign economic company, a senior research assistant at a computer technology laboratory of VNIIGAZ.

From 1999 to 2006 – head of a strategic planning and advanced research division, head of a data center for gas utilization and distribution, Deputy Director for Science at VNIIPromgaz, later renamed as

Promgaz and presently – Gazprom promgaz.

In 2006 Nikolai Kislenko was appointed Deputy Director General, for Science at VNIIGAZ.

Oleg Buchnev, previously acting as Director General of NIIgazeconomika, was relieved of his post due to a job transfer.
