OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2009. The conference entitled "Moscow and the regions: cooperation in housing construction sector" was organised under the auspices of the Moscow City government. The list of participants in the conference included Vladimir Ressin, the First Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow City government, Alexander Braverman, the Director General of the Federal Fund for Housing Construction Support, Andrei Borodin, the President of the Bank of Moscow, as well as representatives of the regional executive authorities and public and community organisations.

The conference discussion covered housing construction programmes, the Moscow City government's experience in implementation of federal housing support programmes, as well as a number of other issues.

Andrei Borodin, President of the Bank of Moscow, had presented his paper entitled "Credit financing within the programme of guaranteed buy-out of economy-class housing".

Speaking about this, Andrei Borodin mentioned among other aspects that the Bank of Moscow is actively developing its construction financing line, this includes credit financing of companies working under government contracts.

"The important thing today is to create an effective mechanism facilitating credit financing of both real estate developers, who implement projects in construction of economy-class housing, and individuals who purchase flats in buildings constructed under this programme. We expect that these efforts will result in expansion of quantities in both supply and demand on the economy-class housing market", - says Andrei Borodin.
