OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2010. Vostokenergo Company (DTEK) has made an agreement with the Ukrainian main lines’ operator, NPC Ukrenergo SE, for the right of access to the cross-border electricity transmission networks of Ukraine for export of electricity to the countries of Europe in 2010.
 
A win of Vostokenergo LLC (DTEK) at the auction of 16 December, 2009 for access to the transfer capacity of the cross-border electricity networks for electricity exports became a ground for conclusion of the agreement. Vostokenergo LLC (DTEK) acquired 150 MW of the transfer capacity to a total amount of UAH 83.5 million for exports of electricity in 2010. On December 22, the Company purchased additional 100 MW to be used during January of 2010 at a price of UAH 3.56 million.

Service-Invest and Energougol ENE represent the electricity distribution business of DTEK. Their share of electricity purchase in SE Energorynok in 2008 made 6.5%.
