OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2011. TNK-BP and the Government of the Ryazan region signed a Social and Economic Cooperation Agreement for 2011 today. The document was signed by Anatoly Tyomkin, Executive Vice President on behalf of the company and Oleg Kovalev, Governor on behalf of the Government of the Ryazan region, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The Agreement provides for bilateral partnership of TNK-BP and the Government of the Ryazan region aimed at stable social and economic development of the region, strengthening of the resource, material, technical and financial base in the territory of the region, satisfaction of regional demand for petroleum products, and implementation of social and economic programs.

The document stipulates TNK-BP obligations with regard to the volumes of the tax payments to be contributed to the consolidated budget of the Ryazan region and the scale of company investments in regional social and charitable programs. In addition to that, TNK-BP guarantees provision of agricultural producers with petroleum products in the period of sowing and harvesting campaigns.
