OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding is broadening its presence in the market of Central Europe. It has registered a trademark in the Slovak Republic in Cyrillic and Latin for 16 categories of the International Classification of Goods and Services.

Shvabe received unique rights to use the trademark in the territory of the country in order to market medical products, optical devices, lighting equipment, geodesic appliances, and other products. In addition, the Holding has an opportunity to conduct scientific research studies and development work, as well as to provide educational and industrial analysis services in Slovakia.

"Slovakia is a long-time partner of the Holding. Over many years we have been delivering photo lenses to this country through our dealer network. Thanks to the Intergeo exhibition in Cologne we have also found geodesic equipment partners in the Slovak Republic. Medicine is a promising direction for cooperation with this country. Negotiations with potential Slovak dealers are held within the framework of the Medica thematic exhibition in Dusseldorf, as well as in the course of the International GNPI congress for neonatologists from Switzerland and Germany in Hamburg," said Shvabe Deputy CEO on Sales, Foreign Trade, and Marketing Anatoly Sludnykh.
