CEO of SUEK Vladimir Rashevsky Named Best TOP-manager of Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. In Moscow, the Award Ceremony of the "Top 1000 Russian Managers - 2015" was held. During the event, it was announced that CEO of JSC "Siberian Coal Energy Company" (JSC "SUEK") Vladimir Rashevsky is the winner in the main category, "Best Executive." The award was handed to Vladimir Rashevsky by the founder of the Association of Russian Managers, Dmitry Zelenin, the rector of Moscow Management School "Skolkovo," Andrei Sharonov, and the President of the Association of Russian Managers, Vladimir Senin.
At the ceremony, Vladimir Rashevsky noted: "This is the award for the whole SUEK team, for the team of the largest coal company in the country. Times are hard now, and the coal industry has been experiencing a downturn for the last four years, but in our work, we always start from the fact that you need to see the future, create and work for the perspective. We try to encourage this optimism in people around us. Our work is aimed not only at keeping the positions that we have already achieved, but also on developing, growing and implementing new projects. All of this is made possible by a huge team of thirty-five thousand professionals who work in 8 regions of Siberia and the Far East at our facilities. I am grateful for their work, creativity and professionalism!"
The "TOP 1000 Russian Managers" project has been implemented every year since 2001; it sums up the work for the year and identifies the most professional managers of Russia. During the expert voting, the best top managers of the country evaluate the success of their colleagues. The ranking is organized by the Association of Managers, "Kommersant" publishing house, and Russian public organization, "Business Russia."
Vladimir Rashevsky is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of JSC "SUEK."
He graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in "World Economy." He defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences. Fro a long time, Vladimir Rashevsky has worked in the banking system. From June 1992 until May 2000, he occupied several position in Autobank, up to Deputy Chairman. In May 2000, he joined the MDM-Bank, heading the investment department, and in July of the same year, was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of this crediting organization. In December 2001, Vladimir Rashevsky became Chairman of MDM-Bank. In Spring 2004, Vladimir Rashevsky became the President of JSC "SUEK" and at the end of 2004, he was appointed the CEO of this company.
