OREANDA-NEWS. Greece has reduced the time it takes to receive a QR code required for incoming tourists, as ATOR reports.

Previously, passengers had to fill out a special PLF form at https://travel.gov.gr at least 24 hours before entry. After some time, they received a QR code, which had to be presented when crossing the border.

Now travelers have the opportunity to fill out a special entry form at the last moment: the digital code comes immediately after it is sent.

As a result, passengers flying to Greece who, for whatever reason, did not fill out the PLF form in advance, can do it directly at the airport of departure, right before the flight.

The QR code will be received immediately after the formation of the document to the e-mail indicated in the form.

Earlier it was reported that in Greece, tourists without a PCR test or a vaccination certificate were restricted from moving around the country. The RTVI TV channel writes about this in its Telegram account.

So, due to the tightening of antiquarian measures, about 2.5 thousand people were unable to go on cruises to the islands - travelers were denied boarding passenger ships due to lack of the necessary documents.

According to the Minister of Maritime Transport Yannis Plakiotakis, now the presence of PCR tests is being checked by the Coast Guard. Prior to this, the port authorities exercised control over the observance of epidemiological measures.
