OREANDA-NEWS The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that he does not exclude the possibility of unblocking the services of Meta (recognized as an extremist organization) in the future. He said this at the marathon of the Russian society "Znanie" in Moscow.

Earlier, it was estimated that more than a third (38%) of Russians stopped using Instagram after the service was blocked in Russia. A study by Otkritie Bank found that a quarter of Russians continue to use social networks blocked in Russia through VPNs.

In early March, access to the social network Facebook was blocked in Russia (the company that owns Meta is recognized as an extremist organization) and Twitter service, and on March 14 Instagram was also blocked.

On March 21 Tverskoi court of Moscow acknowledged the activity of Meta services extremist, at the same time citizens and organizations would not be held liable for the use of social networks after the blocking.
