OREANDA-NEWS Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko has said that Kiev and Warsaw have agreed fuel supplies to Ukrainian territory, Radio Poland reports. According to her, supplies must begin in late May - in general, Ukraine will receive about 25 thousand tons of gasoline from the Polish reserves, according to Gazeta.ru.

The Ukrainian deputy prime minister made a statement to this effect after a meeting with Minister of Climate of Poland Anna Moskva. Speaking at a press conference, Sviridenko separately noted that before the escalation of the Ukrainian crisis, 97% of the fuel Ukraine received from Russia and Belarus, but now these directions are closed.

At the same time, Polish Minister Moscow confirmed the words of her Ukrainian counterpart and added that Warsaw was currently working to increase the capacity of the border with Ukraine. As the politician stressed, new supply directions to Kiev are being created.

Earlier it was reported that Poland would give its consent to Finland and Sweden to join NATO as soon as possible.
