Ukraine Asks Russia, Germany and France to Hold a Norman Four Summit
"The option of holding a" Norman summit "in online mode has not yet been substantively discussed, but we are working on the fact that in principle we need the consent of three countries - the Russian Federation, first of all, as well as France and Germany - to hold a summit", he said.
At the same time, Kuleba said that the format of the meeting of the "Norman Four" in the context of the coronavirus pandemic will be determined after a decision on its date. "When we understand the date, we will move on to talking about the format in which it can be held", the minister said.
Earlier in an interview with the Russian media, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said that holding a new “Norman Summit” (Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine) makes sense only after implementing the decisions taken at the meeting in Paris in December 2019. The previous Norman Quartet summit was held in Paris on December 9th. The next meeting was supposed to take place four months after the meeting.
