OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin continues to receive treatment for coronavirus infection in one of the state medical institutions. This was reported on May 5 by the press secretary of the head of government, Boris Belyakov.

“The Prime Minister actively contacts with his colleagues over the phone,” he said. The spokesman also noted that the state of the head of the cabinet of ministers is “generally normal.” Doctors provide him with the necessary assistance, using drugs recommended by the Russian Ministry of Health.

On April 30, Mishustin informed President Vladimir Putin that his tests for coronavirus had shown positive results. The head of the cabinet proposed the candidacy of First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov as an acting chairman of the Russian government. Later, Putin signed a decree on this.

It is known that all members of the government, who had contact with the ill politician, are isolated and undergo additional testing.
