OREANDA-NEWS. April 7, 2008. The two leaders discussed current bilateral relations issues, including the upcoming flight by South Korea’s first woman cosmonaut to the International Space Station on April 8, 2008. Both sides affirmed their commitment to continued development of cooperation in space and in high technology in general.

The two presidents expressed their desire to continue the current course of all-round development of relations between the two countries in bilateral affairs and on the international stage, and in this context discussed plans for future high-level contacts.

The conversation took place at South Korea’s initiative.
