The head of the Russian foreign affairs agency took part in the seventh Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) ministerial meeting and in the work of the Forum of Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Muslim and Western Countries, The Common World: Progress through Diversity.

The Minister had meetings with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, in the course of which the sides discussed topical issues of international life and the Russian-Kazakhstan bilateral agenda. The conversations passed in a trustful and friendly atmosphere traditional for Russian-Kazakhstan relations.
