OREANDA-NEWS. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko received in Moscow on December 25 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Valeriu Ostalep.

The partners highly assessed the dynamic evolution of the political, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation of the two countries. In the context of summing up the foreign policy results of the year they noted with satisfaction the successful fulfillment of the Plan of Inter-MFA Consultations.

Ostalep was thoroughly informed about the promotion of the new Russian initiatives concerning the creation of a new European security architecture. In his turn, he told about the integration priorities of Moldova at the regional and the pan-European level. The sides discussed certain aspects of interest in Russian and Moldovan relations with the EU.

Also participating in the conversation, which passed in the spirit of a keen and frank exchange of views, was Charge d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation V. Sava.
