OREANDA-NEWS  On 02 March was announced, that Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko states that President of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko promised to sign a joint statement to the International Monetary Fund on providing the second credit tranche to Ukraine. She disclosed this at a briefing.

Yulia Tymoshenko informed that during meeting with the President she tried to convince him of signing the joint statement of the President, Government and National Bank to the IMF. “We have submitted the document inked by Prime Minister and acting Minister of Finance. The President promised to sign this joint statement by the end of the day,” Yulia Tymoshenko noted.

Moreover, the Head of Government told that she had agreed with the President to meet next Monday with the purpose to sign one more document – joint position of all the Ukrainian power on the aspects of revising the program between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund. According to her, this document was also completed and submitted to the President. “We have agreed on a meeting on Monday at 15:00 p.m., during which the President, and the Government and all the participants of this process will, most likely, sign a joint document declaring our positions on revising the program with IMF,” Yulia Tymoshenko added.
