OREANDA-NEWS  On 02 March was announced, that Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and International Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria held a meeting with Vice Prime Minister, Economics Minister of the Republic of Poland Waldemar Pawlak.

The parties have considered cooperation issues between the states as well as Eurointegration aspirations of Ukraine.

Hryhoriy Nemyria underlined the Government of Ukraine views “this meeting as one more stage of deepening of fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and Poland necessary for our countries and a very significant step on the way of Ukraine towards Eurointegration”.

In his turn Waldemar Pawlak urged to intensify relations between Ukraine and Poland as well as business circles of the two states.

The interlocutors have also dwelt upon improvement of activity of customs and border services of Ukraine and Poland.

Moreover, it was emphasized on the efforts of both Ukrainian and Polish governments directed to curbing the fallouts of the world financial crunch.

In particular, Vice Prime Minister Hryhoriy Nemyria accentuated that Ukraine and Poland alike are trying to do their best to protect the population from the consequences of the downturn. He expressed assurance that “the crisis will be an impetus for searching short ways to work out the problems, vital for Ukraine and Poland, and will facilitate to maintaining a tighter cooperation of the two states”.
