OREANDA-NEWS  On 03 March was announced, that, Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip attended the unofficial meeting of the European Union heads of state and heads of government, the main topics under discussion at which were the financial crisis and the effect thereof on real economy, the implementation of the European Economic Recovery Plan in the Member States, opportunities for increasing the employment rate and the preparations for the G20 Summit of the world’s leading industrial and developing countries.

Ansip said that in order to quickly overcome the economic crisis, Europe must be uniform and strong. “There are no different blocks in Europe,” said Ansip. “The drawing of lines splits the European Union and, in summary, injures everyone’s interests. The European Union must act in unison.”
