OREANDA-NEWS  On 04 March was announced, that Olexandr Turchynov, the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, met with Minister of Foreign Trade of the Netherlands Frank Heemskerk.

The event concerned issues of deepening cooperation in energy, transport, aerospace and agricultural domains.

The interlocutors paid great attention to an issue of luring representatives of Dutch businesses to participation in the projects within frames of gearing-up to the finals of European Football Championship of 2012.

Frank Heemskerk expressed his conviction that gradual approaching of Ukraine to concluding of Free Trade Agreement with the EU would broaden possibilities of bilateral cooperation. “This will enable to grow volumes of cooperation and gradually increase amounts of investment cooperation, despite the crisis phenomena in the world,” the Minister of Foreign Trade of the Netherlands stressed. In response Olexandr Turchynov emphasized, under conditions of the world financial downturn a complicated issue arises: how to keep our markets open.

Reference. The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Turchynov is staying with a three-day working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Within the scope of the visit the meetings with Vice Prime Minister, Finance Minister and representatives of Dutch business have been held.
