Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Ian Luder, the Lord Mayor of the City of London.

Ian Luder briefed Karim Massimov on results of the 3-day-long visit of the City of London delegation to Kazakhstan and results of meetings with public bodies and business community of Kazakhstan focused on issues of mutual cooperation.

The sides dwelt on global financial markets, anti-crisis programs launched by the Governments of Kazakhstan and Great Britain, as well as on problems faced when implementing economy stabilization programs.

Representatives of the City of London lauded Kazakhstan Government’s efforts to overcome negative impact of the global crisis on the national economy.

When closing the meeting, the sides expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation.
