OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2011. On March 15, 2011, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will visit Minsk, the capital of Belarus, where he will attend a meeting of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (the supreme body of the Customs Union) held at the level of heads of government, as well as a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.

The agenda of the EurAsEC Interstate Council's meeting, which will also be attended by Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich and Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov, includes a discussion of ways to further strengthen cooperation between the member states of the Customs Union.

A meeting of the Union State's Council of Ministers will address a broad range of issues related to the two states' integration. Several Russian-Belarusian agreements are expected to be signed after the talks.
