OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2012. The President emphasized the importance of gradual continuation of deregulation policy in 2013. First of all, it involves reduction of business costs to comply with mandatory regulatory procedures.

The President noted that legislative acts adopted recently had significantly simplified procedures of doing business and introduced more civilized rules of its functioning. At the same time, he stressed that such laws didn’t always work in practice. The Head of State instructed Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and First Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Iryna Akimova to analyze the situation together with the Heads of RSA and take steps to improve it. “We must approach such issues fundamentally,” he stressed.

Viktor Yanukovych drew attention to the implementation of the Law “On Urban Activities” that largely depended on the work of local power and to the opening of centers of administrative services.

“I instruct the Government to provide conditions for businessmen to feel less pressure on behalf of regulatory bodies and for Ukraine to improve its ranking in the assessment of the ease of doing business and enter the top-100 countries of the world under that criterion,” the President said.
