OREANDA-NEWS. Vladimir Putin and Mahmoud Abbas discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged opinions on key international and regional issues.

Following their talks President Putin awarded Mahmoud Abbas the Order of Friendship. Mr Abbas received this award for his contribution to strengthening Russian-Palestinian relations, as well as promoting bilateral social, cultural and educational ties.
