OREANDA-NEWS. In the Belarusian town of Stowbtsy (Minsk Region), militia officers detained Nikolay Lysenkov, a head of the election headquarters of the presidential candidate Siarhey Cherachen.

“The militia took him from the polling station of the Stowbtsy constituency, where Nikolay worked as observer. In my opinion, he is now being charged with Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code “Organization of an unsanctioned mass event,” but I still do not understand why. Now we are dealing with this matter,” Cherachen said to the portal Tut.by.

Viktoria Strelkovskaya, press attache of the politician, told RIA Novosti that Lysenkov was detained for 72 hours. “We are clarifying the details,” she added.

At the same time, the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus said that she has no information about the detention of the head of the headquarters of Cherachen.
