Ex-minister Predicts an Increase in Investment after the Change of Government in Russia

Maxim Oreshkin, the former Minister of Economic Development, at present the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, considers that international companies have a positive attitude to the change of the country’s government and are ready to invest and “come with new projects”.
According to the politician, Russia continues to improve the business climate. He mentioned that it gained 28th line in the Doing Business ranking, and foreign investors “see the initiatives that have been laid down in recent years.” “The regulatory “guillotine”, the removal of barriers that exist in the Russian economy, changes in industry regulation – many issues have been laid. They will be realized in the next couple of years and will make better conditions for doing business in Russia,” Oreshkin explained. In his opinion, “companies are ready to invest, to come with new projects.”
