OREANDA-NEWS Deputy Elena Yampolskaya proposed to allow the display of attributes of the Third Reich in computer games. She prepared the amendment for the second reading of the draft law clarifying the rules for the use of such symbolism in works of art and science.

By the second reading, the chairman of the culture committee developed and submitted amendments to the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption to allow the use of Nazi symbols in museums and reenactors, as well as in computer and video games, the press service of the faction said.

The document under review is intended to bridge the gap in the laws "On Countering Extremist Activities" and "On Perpetuating the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." The first prohibits the display of Nazi symbols, and the second - the use of it in any form. Thus, all the pictures about the Great Patriotic War were illegal.
