Inspection of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near ​​the village of Shumy in Donbass with the participation of representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will not take place on September 10, it is temporarily canceled, a source in the Office of the President of Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine news agency. “There will be no inspection today. It is not postponed, but temporarily canceled,” journalists’ interlocutor said.

Earlier it was reported that Kiev and Donbass republics agreed on de-escalation and a joint investigation with the participation of the OSCE of ceasefire violations near the village of Shumy.

On September 5, it became known that the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin ordered to strike at the positions of the Ukrainian forces near ​​the village of Shumy. Pushilin instructed to fire at “illegally erected engineering structures”, a statement published on the official website of the head of the republic said. A few days later, Pushilin canceled his order.
