OREANDA-NEWS. Polling stations in Crimea were visited by international experts, including five members of the European Parliament from France, to familiarize themselves with the voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation on the peninsula.

This was reported on July 1 by the head of the Committee of the Crimean Parliament on National Diplomacy and Interethnic Relations, Yury Gempel. “Our guests have already visited several polling stations in the Yalta District, after that they will go to Simferopol,” Gempel, accompanying the foreigners, said. He also noted that members of the delegation communicated with both voters and members of election commissions, and during this conversation they could ask any questions.

Earlier, a group of experts and politicians from Europe consisting of nine people arrived in Crimea with a working visit for three days.
