OREANDA-NEWS. The situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in Moscow has gradually stabilized. This was announced on November 2 by the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin, during a meeting of the presidium of the coordination council to combat COVID-19 under the government of the Russian Federation.

“In terms of the main indicators, we see a certain stabilization of the situation. On the one hand, this arouses cautious optimism. On the other hand, we understand that the values ​​themselves are still quite high and we need to continue the measures that have been taken in the city,” the politician said. The mayor clarified that in comparison with the last week there is a decrease in the number of detected patients by 1 % in Moscow.

On October 29, Sobyanin said that if security measures are observed, the authorities will not have to introduce additional restrictions and jeopardize the capital’s economy.
