OREANDA-NEWS. Yuriy Vitrenko, the executive director of the state company Naftogaz of Ukraine, answered those who are dissatisfied with the gas agreement with Russia.

On December 31, the party European Solidarity led by the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko demanded that the authorities of the country ban direct gas supplies from Russia.

Vitrenko, commenting on that, noted that criticism should be objective and constructive. He redirected those who are not satisfied with the volumes of purchases to the politicians who allowed the construction of the TurkStream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. “If you think that we had to reject any compromises, you should criticize those who did not fulfill the task of making Ukraine independent of gas imports… who did not fully implement the European rules, who insufficiently attracted international partners and who did not provide a modern level of management,” Vitrenko wrote on his Facebook page. In addition, the top manager warned against the statements of everyone who does not understand the subject of conversation.
