OREANDA-NEWS. Opposition politician Aleksey Navalny said in an interview with the German magazine Spiegel that Russian President Vladimir Putin was behind his poisoning. According to him, he has no other versions. Navalny also announced that he is going to return to Russia.

The full text of the interview with the Russian oppositionist will be released on October 2. Fragments of the interview were published before the summit of the European Union, which will take place on October 1–2. Among other issues, the situation with Navalny will be discussed in Brussels.

Navalny became ill on August 20 during the flight from Tomsk to Moscow. The airplane urgently landed in Omsk. The politician was taken to a local hospital, and two days later he was transported for treatment to a Berlin clinic. In early September, the German government announced that experts had found traces of poison from the Novichok group in Navalny’s body. Later, Berlin reported that two independent laboratories from France and Sweden confirmed this result.
