OREANDA-NEWS. The Kremlin press service reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, posed the question whether Kiev intends to implement the Minsk Agreements.

The talk was initiated by the Ukrainian side. It is known that the heads of state discussed various aspects of resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

Putin also pointed out the inadmissibility of distorting the historical truth regarding the events of the Second World War. Besides, the Russian leader expressed condolences in connection with the death of eight citizens of Ukraine in a traffic accident in the Pskov Region which occurred on February 13.

Earlier, the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine reported that Zelensky and Putin touched upon preparations for the next meeting of leaders of the Normandy Four countries (Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France), as well as the issue of the exchange of prisoners.
