OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that official Moscow is concerned about outside interference in the internal affairs of Belarus, and expressed the hope that the Belarusian people will have enough “political maturity” to resolve their problems themselves.

“I really hope that the Belarusian people will have enough political maturity to calmly, without any sudden movements, build a dialogue with all political forces and resolve all their internal issues on their own, without any pressure and interference from outside,” Russian President said. He clarified that saying about outside interference he means financial informational and political support. The President stressed that the nations should be given the opportunity to deal with the challenges themselves.

Putin recalled that external interference is always explained by the best intentions. “And as you know, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. This is the place where good intentions, interference in the affairs of other states, lead,” he concluded.
